Lets review how to use these awesome convenient products called Quick Pages. Our creative team makes some pretty awesome ones.
The key to a Quick Page is understanding Layers. What goes on top or below, makes all the difference.
I’m gonna walk you through a difficult type Quick Page so that one with only one photo spot will be a piece of cake for you.
Open your quick page.
Notice that when you open a Quick Page you will have ONE layer. In that layer you will see spots thats are transparent. These are places you can place things. You can put photos or papers.
Go to File then down to “PLACE” – when you place a photo it is going to place it ON TOP of whatever layer you are working on.
See how it is on top of everything? Also, see how it is listed on the layers panel? Its on top. Simply by moving the layer below the main layer you will see it behind the “frames” or “strokes”.
See how the photo is now behind all the frames? Also see how it is now below the main quick page layer? At this point move the photo to where you want it to be visible. But what can you do if it is showing in other frames? You can use two different methods (maybe more but I know of two that I would use).
1. Select your cookie cutter tool
2. Cut the shape out. But you might have edges still showing if the squares are lined up. So finish with the eraser tool.
Other method use the lasso, select the exact shape, go to select menu, inverse and then click delete on your keyboard.

See how when you use the cookie cutter you have pieces hang over cause it isnt a perfect square type frame, because of the layering.
You can take your eraser and trim it up or use the lasso. Here you can see the dotted line around the photo following the lines of the frame. Once you select the area go to the Select drop down menu, select Inverse, it will highlight the entire area other than what you wanted to keep. Then press delete on the keyboard. You will be left with a perfectly shaped photo.
To place a second photo go through the same step. Go to File, Place, locate file.
Notice how it is behind the frames this time but above the last photo you just places. That is because every new “Place” you insert will go on top of the layer you were working on or have selected on the layer panel.
This go around I resorted to using the lasso. Less work for me. Select the area that makes the frame.
Go to the select drop down menu, select inverse. Then click delete on the keyboard.
Continue to the next photo and so forth.

Insert the last photo and lasso out what you don’t need visible.
You have a finished layout.
You can add your own elements. Journaling. Titles. Whatever you want, wherever you want.
Using these CUTE quick pages saves so much time. This is a B2N2 Kit – Mani/Pedi to purchase click here.
